Special targets hidden during the event will give selected hunters access to Digger’s Gold Nugget Garden (each token earns you a 15-minute timed access).
Inside the Gold Nugget Garden, participants will hunt for planted gold nuggets ranging from under 1 gram up to 50 grams.
One standout nugget is valued at more than $7,500.
You have to find your way into the Garden first.
Find the right target, earn access, then start swinging.
SPECIAL PRIZE TOKENS:
Gold will not be the only target worth digging.
Special buried prize tokens will be hidden throughout the event and redeemable for items such as:

Detector Training, Techniques and Tune Up
Get your detector dialed in before the hunt begins.
Work on ground balance, sensitivity, target response, coil control, sweep speed, and simple techniques designed to improve your detecting skills in mineralized gold country.
You will also have the opportunity to demo Minelab’s top performing gold detectors.
Bringing a new detector or pre ordering one for the event?
This is your chance to get familiar with it before the main hunt begins.

WHY THE TRAINING DAY MATTERS:
Gold country is not always friendly to a poorly adjusted detector.
Mineralized ground, hot rocks, sensitivity, ground balance, target response, and sweep technique all affect what you hear.
The October 22 training session gives you time to work with your machine before the hunt starts.
The goal is simple.
Know what your detector is telling you before a gold nugget gives you a reason to listen.
